Skoda continues to excel in providing
its owners with excellent
customer service, as it is ranked second overall in the 2007
What Car? J. D. Power Survey of Customer Satisfaction. Ranked
in the Top Five for the 12th consecutive year, Skoda is the
highest-ranked European brand in the survey. Skoda also scooped the top brand award in the 2007 Top Gear magazine customer satisfaction poll and Best Manufacturer Auto Express 2009.
Skoda was founded in 1895 as Laurin & Klement, manufacturing
bicycles, followed by motorcycles and, in 1905, cars. Cars
have been produced since then at Skoda’s factory in
Mlada Boleslav, Czech Republic. Skoda sold 492,111 cars in
2005 with a range comprised of Fabia, Octavia and Superb models.
Skoda’s fourth model line, the Roomster MPV, has proved a huge success since its launch September 2006. The recently launched Skoda Yeti is the ideal car for todays driver, 4x4 strengths with drivability and running costs of a hatchback - a true crossover vehicle. |
